"Minnows" (2-3 years of age)
FELCC's Older Toddler Program promotes independence through child centered and teacher directed activities. Students are introduced to age appropriate circle time activities such as counting, calendar, weather, story time, and songs. In the classroom children will be encouraged and teachers will promote taking turns, cooperating, sharing, and expressing feelings in appropriate manner. Children will learn to help themselves, will practice getting along with others, and will be encouraged to make friends. Independent bathroom use will be prompted with assistance given if necessary. Throughout the day, teachers will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with each student.
"Fish" (3-5 years of age)
FELCC's Preschool Program prepares children for the next educational and social level. Students will focus on all aspects of creative learning with themes focused on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. The S.T.E.A.M curriculum will help stimulate young imaginative minds, as well as give them a jump-start for future learning courses.
